Middle School & JV Tournament

WEIGH-INS: 7:30-8:30AM

START TIME: Approximately 9:30AM or slightly earlier

COST: $7 PER WRESLER

• If paying by check please make payable to South Pointe High School

• Due to large number of no-shows, you will have to pay for everyone that you enter into the tournament- NO EXCEPTIONS.

ADMISSION: $5 for everyone over age of 5

MATCH LENGTH: 3 90 second periods (DOUBLE ELIMINATION)

THIS WILL BE A QUALIFIER FOR THE CAROLINA OPEN. TOP 2 ADVANCE TO THE CAROLINA OPEN

Coaches,

1. We will run 5 mats in hopes of finishing at a decent time.

2. Registration will be done On-line again year through Wrestling Tourney.
   Set your web browser to the site below.

3. All coaches are to have their lineup by Wednesday Dec.8^th by 6:30pm on through the website. NO EXCEPPTIONS. Please make sure we have received your line-up.

4. Please send your email addresses to ecook@comporium.net so we can get your username and password to you before Wednesday Dec.8^th. This is the only way for you to set up your line-up!

5. Your lineup should include:

   1. wrestlers name

   2. weight class they will be competing at. This will not be an official weigh in. Whatever weight class you put down for that individual they will have to make that weight Saturday morning at weigh ins. If they do not make weight then they don’t wrestle.

6. If you leave someone off the list or we did not receive it through the website your lineup they WILL NOT be in the tournament, SO PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU DOUBLE CHECK WHAT YOU TURN IN & THAT WE HAVE YOUR LINE UP. We are doing this to start the tournament on time.

10. Eligibility: grades 7- 10 and certified by SCHSL.

11. Keep in mind that a varsity wrestler is only allowed 16 dates. There should be no varsity level wrestlers competing in the qualifying tournaments

12. Medal –Top 3

13. Changes in the tournament will only be made if we made the mistake.

14. PARKING: Please park in the BUS LOOP

15. COACHES, WRESTLERS, and MANAGERS ONLY can enter the school through the side doors of the gym.   If you try to enter through the general public entrance you will be instructed to go around the building and enter from the specified entrance, Athletic Director requirement.
    Teams will be allowed three coaches and one manager.

16. All spectators should enter through the front of the school.

Middle School Division (7^th and 8^th graders)

JV Division (9^th and 10^th graders)

103, 112, 119, 125, 130, 135, 140, 145, 152, 160, 171, 189, 215, 285.
